For the most part, California's great weather allows you to ride at the motocross track any time of the year. Not only is the weather great for riding but thankfully there are a good amount of MX tracks around to do so! Now with many different options, it might be difficult choosing which track you’d like to practice at, so that’s why we are here! We’ll narrow down which track you might be best for you.
Competitive Edge MX Park
This MX Park is located in Hesperia off the I-15 freeway. There are five different tracks for all level riders. The Pee Wee Track is open to those riders under the age of 8 years old on 50cc to 110cc bikes and ATV’s. The Pit Bike track is designed with small jumps, elevation changes and even has a whoops section. The Hillside Track is the perfect track to advanced beginners, novice and vet riders on 65cc to 450cc bikes. The “National Track” is open to novice through professional riders on 65cc to 450cc bikes. The Special Events track is open to the appropriate skill levels, typically intermediate to professional riders on 250cc to 450cc bikes. This track is mainly used for special events only. Practice fees are $30 per rider. Their tracks open at 8 am and close at 2 pm which will give you a great amount of time to get some practice in and Competitive Edge participates in different racing series that anyone can join in on. This is an excellent choice when planning to spend your day out on the track.

Milestone MX Park
This huge MX Park is located in Riverside right off the 60 freeway featuring six different tracks suitable for all level riders! The Main track sits on a 10.3-acre lot and is designed to suit the riding style of Intermediate & Pro-level riders. The Vet Track sits on an 8.7-acre lot and is designed to suit the riding style of vet, novice, and beginners. The Peewee track is great for mini’s 65ccand under or true beginner riders. The Entry Level Track is designed to suit Beginners and Entry level riders. It will also accommodate quads, UTV’s, and trophy karts that give everyone in the family a chance to participate. There is also a full-scale flat track which is very inviting to beginners and experts alike! And lastly, there is a Supercross track so if you that want to test your skills on a real SX track come after 2:00 pm and any rider can access it. Practice fees vary on the track you want to ride but they do offer discounts to Fire/Police/Military with a valid ID. The hours of each track also vary but they are open every day of the week and when compared to other tracks they’re open longer hours throughout the week. Milestone also participates in racing series like the TWMX El Dorado Series and more. This is a great MX park to get more involved in the MX World.

Glen Helen Raceway
Glen Helen Raceway is located in San Bernardino off the 15 freeway and offers three different tracks to practice on. The National MX Track which is open on Thursdays and Saturdays for practice. The Vet MX Track which is open on Thursdays for practice. And finally, the Enduro Track that is open on Thursdays and Saturdays for practice. Hours on Thursdays are 8 am –Dusk and 8am-2pm on Saturdays. Glen Helen has races every weekend and a schedule of the races can be found on their website. Practice days cost is $30 per bike. This park also offers overnight camping which is family friendly.

Lake Elsinore MX Park
Lake Elsinore MX Park is located in Lake Elsinore near the 15 freeway. This park has 6 tracks to choose from and offering well planned out tracks for all levels of riders. There is a Pee-Wee Track, 2 Vet Tracks, a Mini Bike Track, Supercross Track, and the Main Largest Track. The MX Park is open Thursday-Monday from 8am-2pm and 8am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Supercross Tracks are additionally open on Wednesday and Thursdays. Each practice fee is different depending on the track you’d like to enter. Lake Elsinore MX Park is one of the biggest and famously known parks that sees over 10,000 riders a month from all over the country.

Perris Raceway
Perris Raceway is located in Perris right off Highway 74. Perris Raceway is the oldest track in California and has two tracks to choose from. They’ve brought in countless truckloads of dirt to create a new full-length amateur track and this track is fun for all levels of riders. It helps you really focus on your turning technique and you will spend more time riding on this track than at most other places because of the turns, off cambers and combination of jumps and whoops. The park also includes a main track that has been raced and ridden by all the greats of motocross lore. Dating back to the days of the GFI Series, CMC and even the Pro Perris Invitational SX race. Perris Raceway has some of the best dirt in So Cal and the turns rut up real nice while the jumps are fun with plenty of safety decks. Perris Raceway also offers night riding which is said to be the best night riding in SoCal. Their hours vary throughout the season and practice fees are $25 for these tracks. Perris Raceway also participates in different racing series all throughout the year.
