What Is the Sand Show Super Show:

For more than a decade, the Sand Show Super Show 3-day event has been the biggest dune and dirt sports expo in the world. Every September, thousands of attendees go to the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA to check out and obtain the latest rides, gear, and accessories for Sand Sports enthusiasts. There are over 300 vendors selling and showing the latest and greatest items, it tough to see everything in just one day!

When Is it?

This show always takes place in September. This year, the Sand Sports Super Show will take place on September 13-15, 2019 at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA. You can go one day or all three days. This event only happens once a year so you do not want to miss it! Below are the event times.

Friday, September 13: 4:00 pm- 10:00 pm
Saturday, September 14: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
Sunday, September 15: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Do I Need Tickets?

Tickets for the Sand Show can be purchased online or at the door. Please note that buying your tickets at the door the day of the event will be a little more expensive than if you buy them online ahead of time. The event is non-refundable and will happen rain or shine. Below are the online and day of show prices:

How to Get There?

The Sand Sports Super Show takes place in Orange County in Costa Mesa, CA. It is about a 1-hour drive from Los Angeles and 2-hour drive from San Diego. Below are some simple directions on how to get to The OC Fair and Event Center for the Sand Show.

Los Angeles to Costa Mesa:

Get on US-101 S
Keep right at the fork to stay on US-101 S, follow signs for CA-60 E/Interstate 5 S
Get on I-710 S/Long Beach Fwy in Bell from S Boyle Ave, E Washington Blvd, Downey Rd, and District Blvd
Follow I-710 S/Long Beach Fwy and I-405 S to Newport Blvd in Costa Mesa. Take exit 4 from State Rte 55 S

San Diego to Costa Mesa:

Get on I-5 N towards Los Angeles
Follow I-5 N and CA-73 N to Newport Blvd in Costa Mesa.
Take exit 4 from CA-55 S/State Rte 55 S/Costa Mesa Fwy
Merge onto Newport Blvd
