What to do in Glamis North:

Hot Springs:

There are mineral hot springs you can soak yourself in after a long day of riding. The mineral hot spring gush healing waters at 160 degrees. It’s cooled until it’s just right, then fed into two therapeutic pools and 14 hot tubs. These chemically balanced pools are the place to hang out with friends before heading back to the campfire.

Salvation Mountain:

Salvation Mountain is known as a religious monument that was man-made of cement and sand. It is only about 22 miles from Glamis North, so it can be a quick stop if you heading to Glamis for the day. Visitors from all over stop by this monument to show their appreciation or to take cool pictures with the crazy and fun colors it is covered in. Whether or not you agree with what the monument stands for, this is a fun place to stop by and visit. Just to be able to say you’ve visited Salvation Mountain!

Bat Caves Buttes:

You can find the Bat Caves Buttes at the crest of Durmid Hill approximately one mile southeast of Salt Creek. You will need to hike about a mile to reach these caves, so we recommend bringing some hiking shoes or strong soled shoes. Once you reach the center of the Buttes you will find six distinct voids large enough to walk into, and there is a small area at the southeast end of the butte, where one can crouch and pass completely through, emerging on the other side. Keep in mind that bats really do live in these caves, but they typically do emerge at dusk and are rarely disturbed by intense noise or light, as they are strictly nocturnal. The caves also provide shelter to local pigeons, hawks, and kestrels.

The Bradshaw Trail:

Brashaw OHV Trail is a fun and all-day trail you can do with the family. This trail is about 70 miles long. It is mostly made of soft desert sand so you will need a four-wheel-drive vehicle to handle the stretches of road. The trail takes you through a rock hound's paradise and offers spectacular views of the Chuckwalla Bench, Orocopia, Chuckwalla and the Mule Mountains. Wildlife viewing, bird watching, rockhounding, and hiking opportunities are plentiful along this road.

Ride to Glamis:

\If you are staying in Glamis North, you can choose to drive down to Glamis Dunes for the day. It is about a 70-mile drive down, but once you are there you will have miles and miles of sand dunes to take over. The Glamis sand dunes are full of fast action, high-horsepower thrills and beautiful views that never disappoint. Although the dunes may seem like just an endless amount of sand, there are several things you and your family and a must-stop on your vacation in Glamis North.
