Many motorcycle riders do maintenances themselves and having the right equipment and tools will make your experience easier and smoother. It is difficult at times to know or remember which tools you need and why most of this is learned as you go. You won’t realize what you’re missing until you’re actually performing the work or maintenance. To avoid being unprepared reference your owner’s manual as much as you can. And we’ve also put together a list of the most common and must-have tools and equipment for your motorcycle.

 

Torque Wrench:


Torque wrenches are mainly used for anything on your bike that involves fasteners. Fasteners can potentially become stripped or broken from over-torquing them, having a torque wrench will allow you to set them properly. Chain Breaker and Riveter:


Replacing the chain and sprocket on a motorcycle is one of the more tedious and done infrequently. If your chain has become too loose and rattles, it’s time to replace. Pliers:
