This company has recently began to make a name for itself because of its recent factory growth in Changshou China. This company began to gain popularity back in 2014 after launching its own brand of UTV and ATV products. About HiSun:

HiSun is a UTV, ATV, and motorcycle manufacturer. This company has been in business for over 25 years and before releasing their own brand of UTV’s they actually supplied parts and other side-by-side components for some of the largest off-road vehicles in the industry. The decision to venture out and create their own brand of utility vehicles and expand their warehouse to do so. They also offer a variety of ATV’s.

Assembled in the US:

HiSun has 3.2 million sq. ft. factory located in Changshou China where their parts are initially made. Once the parts are made finally assembly takes place in Dallas, Texas. There is a 250,000 sq. ft. facility in Dallas. After the assembly is complete, HiSun conducts a 27 point inspection to make sure all of the product that is going out is safe and ready to go!

Reliability:

HiSun products come with a limited warranty that covers any repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance. There are exclusions and terms, be sure to double-check upon purchase. Extended warranties can be purchased separately, not from HiSun. Parts typically have to be ordered from a retailer and depending on the model HiSun they may arrive sooner than later. Parts have to come from China than to their warehouse in Dallas. There have been over-heating reports but all have been solved with the installation of dual fans to help cool the engine and wrapping the exhaust.

Great for Beginners:

If you are new to the off-roading/UTV world a HiSun product would be a great start. Sometimes going all out and purchasing a little on the higher end side is not the way to go. Starting off a little small and inexpensive will allow you to learn from your mistake and won’t cost you as much to fix if you break something. Once you’ve has experience with a HiSun UTV and you see what it takes to have a UTV you’ll be ready for the bigger toys.

The Most Bang for your Buck:

Hisun Side-by-Sides are a decent, mid-range, product that for the price, will give the consumer the necessary attributes most UTV consumers want in a vehicle. They come fully accessorized which means you won’t have to spend additional money on adding things. There are more accessories, horsepower, and more room available. Most HiSun products come doors, windshields, side mirrors, roofs, rearview mirrors, and a winch. There are a variety of colors available like blue, red, white, and orange. HiSun will continue to build a name for itself for years to come. Again, they are a fairly new company so we expect to see some improvements in their products as time goes on. This brand is a great option for those who are new to the sport and don’t want to spend as much as you might have to if you purchase a competing brand.
